Signatory Vintage Old School Single Malt 50 Year Old Coastal Edition 43.1% 70cl

50-year-old 'Coastal' single malt from Signatory Vintage is now available, a follow up to the 45y 'Tropical' edition we had last year.

This release again comes from a mystery distillery, though given the amount of 1970s stock Signatory is known to hold many suspect it could be Bunnahabhain.

Not everyone realises what independent bottlers like Signatory actually do. Rather than distilling themselves, they source exceptional casks from distilleries, then bottle and release them as unique, often one-off whiskies. Signatory have been doing this since 1988.

That’s why most of the whiskies you’ll find with us are small-batch limited releases. We work with Signatory and many other indie bottlers where quantities are always finite. So you won’t see bottles like these lining supermarket shelves or appearing on Amazon.

Prices are sensible too. Signatory are among the largest and most respected independent bottlers in the world which is how they can release a 50-year-old single malt at a price that still remains within reach.
