Pet Nats are sparkling wines that undergo a single fermentation concluded in the bottle. The palate is usually broader and fruitier than lightweight prosecco or linear brut champagne - you can taste the actual wine under all the bubbles! One-off field blends from lesser known regions are common, or they can make amazing single varietal wines such as our English Bacchus (Renegade) or Portuguese Alvarinho from the Vinho Verde region (Soalheiro). The Pet Nat method, also known as Methode Ancestrale, is used for some top quality sparkling ciders too.
