Aromas of black cherry and berry with pepper, tobacco leaf and liquorice. Structured and complex on the plalate with layers of plum and blackberry, toasty spice and bright acidity on the finish.After malolactic fermentation in tank, the components were transferred to French oak barriques for 12 months maturation. After blending, the finished wine was aged a further 8 months in barrique and foudre. No fining and minimal filtration.
