This 17-year-old Glenlivet 2006 came from single cask 901025, a first fill Oloroso sherry butt that yielded a remarkable 644 bottles at its hugely potent natural cask strength of 60.6%. A mature, full strength, sherried indie Glenlivet is as close as you can get to a sure thing in the whisky world - this should be superb.
