Ellezeloise Hercule Stout 9% 330ml

This Belgian dry stout is named after famed Belgian detective Hercule Poirot. The fictional figure is said to hail from the village of Ellezelles, home also to the brewery. A mild and smooth dry stout which is lagered for ten gays in German oak casks. Pours a deep brown-black. Flavours are dry, with malts giving toasty coffee, mocha and chocolate, supported by a creamy body and just a touch of sweetness in the finish. Hercule is considered by many to be a classic, and for good reason.
