De Angeles Malbec 14.5% 75cl

The grapes are only ever from De Angeles’ one small vineyard – ‘Viña 1924 Parcel 3’ – and the age of the vines partly explains the stunning concentration here. Deep ruby red in colour with blue and purplish hues around the rim. Lovely aromas of plums and sweet red berries, and a delicate floral note. Soft and sweet attack in mouth, and then intense, concentrated and persistent in flavors. Silky-textured in the mouth with incredible length.

Elegant yet intense, fresh, complex, superbly balanced and, best of all, slightly wild and untamed. Remarkable varietal typicity together with the extraordinary freshness, typical of the grapes from this vineyard. Its 24-month bottle aging has contributed to reach proper maturity and enjoy its qualities. It has an aging potential which makes it worthy of aging for at least 5 years. It is recommended to decant the wine before drinking; best served at 15° - 16 °C.
