The Pinot Noir vines grow in the slate soils of steep hillside vineyards. After harvesting and selection of the grapes, they spend 21 days on skins, and are fermented in 1,000 litre oak foudres. The wine rests for 10 months on fine lees before bottling.
Aromas of violets, cherries and cassis with delicate notes of tobacco. Fresh and bright with ripe cherry, supple tannins and an appealing spiciness. The finish is silky and rounded from this warm vintage.
