The first Munich Helles left the Spaten Brewery on 21t March 1894, at a time when dark, sweet, malty beer was the only beer enjoyed in Munich and throughout Germany. Spaten pioneered the first bottom-fermented Munich Helles. It pours a light, clear gold with a thick head of fluffy white bubbles. Expect crisp flavours, floral hop notes, a touch of malt sweetness and cleansing bitterness.
