Lili, the excitable chocolate Labrador, heads-up the blending team for this wine. Fruit always comes from vineyards in Alenquer, but the blend changes a bit each vintage. The wine is simply made, in stainless steel vats.

Comparable in flavour to the cult South African classic 'Chocolate Block' red. Plenty of ripe, berry fruit character, a bit of chocolatey richness, tannic structure, and fresh acidity. Good, drinkable, essentially Portuguese food wine.
