Lancashire Mead 'Sour' Limited Edition Mead 14.5% 70cl

'This Limited Edition Sour Mead is an off-dry, Belgian beer style, brettanomyces wild ferment using Argentinean Wildflower honey.  With the addition of a little ascorbic acid (vitamin C), it takes you back to childhood and that real ‘sour’ blast which then transcends into a flavourful PURE mead at an off-dry level of sweetness.  Sneakily taken to the Mead Madness Cup in February where it blew away our fellow producers with feedback including “have you got any more with you?” and “keep me posted about this one!”

The Limited Edition Sour Mead is a dark red/brown colour, sharp and sour on the first taste, followed by a complex meady flavour.  Great for using in cocktails and will pair well with sweet desserts.'
