Wire Works Amarone Finish 1091 bottles 53.6% 70cl

Apart of the Wire Works Wine Series featuring Amarone one of the most robust red wines in the world. Drier and with more structure than Tawny Port, Amarone still turns out to be a beautiful match for the lightly peated Derbyshire Single Malt spirit which works so well along side red fruit notes of berries, cherries and oak. The 16-month finish period for this whisky in ex Amarone barrels has really made it’s mark and integrated beautifully over two winters and one summer showcasing rich and powerful fruity notes, chocolate and mellow spice at a very full flavoured ABV.
