Weiherer Altbier 4.2% 500ml

Altbier is a dark beer traditionally brewed in the greater Düsseldorf area. This Altbier, however, hails from Weiher, Franconia. The style is a hybrid between ale and lager - top fermenting like an ale, but kept at cooler temperatures like a lager. The result is this coppery-brown beer that gives a nutty malt aroma, with sweet maltiness, light grassy hops and a hint of raisin on the tongue, combined with a light, gently carbonated body.
