UKUKU is a mischievous new addition to Beartowns can range. Inspired by the Andean Myth of a half-man, half bear with unnatural strength sent to protect the glaciers. Ukuku echoes its mythic counterpart with a playful yet amoral character. Using a mixture of honey malt, cara and flaked oats the malt bill provides subtle sweetness and full mouthfeel. With no bittering additions UKUKU showcases these three state-side hops in bunches, featuring two late additions and a hefty dry hop of over 20kg UKUKU packs a powerful hop slap on first tasting and beyond.
