This brew belongs to Torrside’s ‘Monsters Lab’ series – an occasional series of experimental, small-run brews designed to please the brewers who make them. ‘Game Set & Matcha’ is made with two additions of green tea – a steeping of green tea in the kettle after the boil, and then a ‘cold brew’ addition of matcha after fermentation. The result is flavours of soft, gently bitter and herbal green tea which are well-suited to an IPA.
