The bouquet is intense and harmonic; pleasant and delicate notes of red fruits, vanilla and spices. On the palate it is elegant with a pleasant and harmonic with distinct oak character. After harvesting, each must is macerated and fermented separately. Literally meaning '8 skins', Ottobucce refers to the 8 grapes which have been blended to make this wine: Dolcetto 68%, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 6% Barbera, 4% Freisa, 4% Bonarda, 1% Syrah and 1% Albarossa.
