A single cask Ardbeg 2008 14-year-old Islay single malt whisky bottled by North Star Spirits in 2023 without colouring or chill filtration for their Cask Series 024.
This 14-year-old Ardbeg 2008 finished up in an Oloroso sherry butt that yielded 181 bottles at its absolutely massive natural cask strength of 60.8%.
Tasting notes:
Nose - Rich Mussels with gravelax sauce. Bbq sauce from the artisan.
Palate - So much soot, earth, smoke and fresh farm flavours.
Finish - Hot and sooty. Oppenheimer in a glass. Trust me, it is epic!
