Grapes are grown on the limestone and clay soils of Solutré and Vergisson. Fermented in barriques, this wine then spent 12 months in a mixture of new and older French oak. Showing realy lift and expression on the nose. The ripe, lush Chardonnay flavours are matched by a lovely touch of oak and a slightly nutty character. Rich but restrained, there is a real finesse and elegant balance to this very classy white Burgundy
