A delicious high-altitude and late-ripening Tempranillo that uses the traditional technique of sun-drying bunches before vinification to add concentration and complexity. The wine was then racked into new American oak casks for malolactic fermentation, then to French oak for 5 months maturation and refinement before bottling. Aromas of black cherry and berry with pepper, tobacco leaf and liquorice. Structured and complex on the plalate with layers of plum and blackberry, toasty spice and bright acidity on the finish.
